What is the function of the Lymph system?
The lymphatic system plays a vital role in your body's ability to heal from injury and ward off disease. It is essential to the body's drainage system for cleansing and filtering out toxins.
How do I know if I have problems with my Lymphatic System?
If you suffer or experience: frequent cold and flu infections, aches, pains, joint pain, headaches and migraines, menstrual cramps, arthritis, loss of appetite, fatigue, mood irregularities, depression, acne, cellulite...your lymph pathways may be congested.

What are Essential Oils?
Essential Oils are concentrated liquids distilled from plants. They contain the regenerating, oxygenating and immune defense properties of the plants they were extracted from.
When inhaled or applied topically to the body essential oils can have anti-bacterial, -fungal, -viral, -inflammatory, and -septic properties. They can even provide aid with respiratory problems, detoxification, sleeping, hormonal balance, circulation and strengthening of the immune system.
What should I wear to my massage?
You will be encouraged to wait a number of hours before washing off the essential oils in order to give the body time to absorb the oils. Because of this, it is suggested that you wear casual clothing.
What should I do after a Lymphatic Massage?
As with any other form of massage, it is recommended you drink 6-8 glasses of water during the 24-hour period after your massage. This will help flush any toxins that would have been released.
Who can benefit from having a Lymphatic Massage?

For lymphatic massage specifically, these include severe edema, acute inflammation, malignant tumors, lymph cancers, thrombosis and phlebitis (blood clots or other vascular diseases), major heart problems, skin infections, bacterial or viral infection (can lead to blood poisoning), or any infectious bone disease.
